MINISTRY OF EDUCATION ORDERS IMMEDIATE CLOSURE OF FEDERAL GOVERNMENT COLLEGE, KWALI, ABUJA OVER SECURITY THREATS.

The Ministry of Education has ordered the immediate closure of the Federal Government College, Kwali, in Abuja over security threats.
In a statement, the Director of Press and Public Relations in the Ministry, BEN GOONG, cited the security breach in communities around the school for the decision.
GOONG said Minister of Education, ADAMU ADAMU, gave the order that security should be beefed up in all the unity schools in the country.
The development comes in the wake of recent reports of abductions in the outskirts of the nation’s capital, and the breach of the Medium Security Correctional facility in the Kuje by terrorists where hundreds of inmates, including suspected Boko Haram members escaped.
