PDP Zoning Committee ruled against geographical restriction

The People’s Democratic Party, PDP Zoning Committee has ruled against the geographical restriction of aspirants seeking to vie for the position of presidential candidate otherwise known as zoning.
A source told correspondent that the PDP ruled that the position be thrown open to all presidential contenders for the ticket of the party in the 2023 poll.
Recall that former Vice President, ATIKU ABUBAKAR, , and two-term Anambra State Governor, PETER OBI are some of the aspirants who have declared their intention to run for the PDP presidential ticket.
Former Senate President, PIUS ANYIM PIUS, and Rivers Sate Governor, NYESOM WIKE, have also declared their intention to run for the position of president on the ticket of the PDP.
