RIVERS STATE GOVERNOR NYESOM WIKE DENIES CLAIMS OF OWING PENSIONERS IN THE STATE

The Rivers State Governor NYESOM WIKE has denied claims that pensioners are owed in the state.
Governor WIKE made the denial during an official presentation of letter of nomination to him for the “ 2020 Extra Ordinary Personality of the Year Award” by a television station.
The Governor said his administration spends over 1.8-billion-naira monthly on pensions.
He further said it was disturbing that the Nigerian Media has failed in its responsibility to hold the present administration accountable for failure to provide much desired good governance.
